First of all, I'm neither an agnostic nor an atheist. You seem to intend this as some sort of pejorative, so I'm going to report your post for "name-calling." Enjoy your "points."

Second, this nation was not founded as either a "Christian" or "religious" nation. You really need to read some history books & turn off the hate-talk radio, which spews these vile lies.

The crucifix shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Hell, slavery had also "always been there," yet you don't see that unnecessary relic still hanging about, do you?

Right is right, wrong is wrong. Your activist judge is on the wrong side of the law on this one.

Welcome to America! It's secular.

Ah, the good ol' "tyranny of the majority" argument.

Oh, so you DO believe in God! I wasn't aware of that.

1) Who the hell knows what Christ looked like? Having a "picture" of him is kind of a joke. . .

2) I could care less what pictures of religious folks hang on private property.

3) Religion has ZERO place in our secular government institutions.

It's really that simple. Get over yourself & go pray in private like your Father asked. Street-corner hypocrites are talked about in the Gospels, you recall.

Yeah, we use that same tyranny down here when we elect the mayor, chief-of-police, sheriff, councilmen, etc. Guess we're just corrupt people...

Oh, and we also use that same tyranny to vote out video poker parlors...

Um, how many times have I posted on this board my own personal religious beliefs? I know I've talked about them dozens of times. And my personal religious beliefs are just that----personal! They have no place whatsoever in government, mine or yours!

Luckily, there are certain rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights that no one can take away.

Another point that seems to fly wildly over your head.

Why do you people hate America so much?

Oh gee, I'm sorry but with so many people on the board, it's hard for me to remember who believes in what. Like I said, I wasn't aware that you believe in God, especially considering the tone you take about born-again believers.

Yeah, literalists do get under my skin a bit. But only because they, moreso than anyone else, attempt to legislate their views.

And to be fair, it wasn't you who attempted to paint me with the agnostic/atheist brush.

If the hyper-religious would just stay out of government, you'd never hear a peep out of me about religion.

It would appear that you stand counter to one of America's fundamental underlying principles. That would lead a rational person to question your love of our nation. Hardly an insult, only an observation.

Courts have held this over & over again, and you're man is gonna lose. Why can't you Bible thumpers get that through your skulls and quit wasting our time & tax money? i actually wasnt name calling mr twain....i was shooting what you shot right back at you

remember this little gem?????(bolded to accent you calling MRS M a bible thumper, thus i shot back with the atheist , agnostic comment which is to highlight your little foray into the mud pit, but alas agnostic/atheist is a classification not a name calling too bad you cant say the same huh???? not a classification of religion called "biblethumper")
