illegal wiretaps case bounced on appeal

I'm very discouraged by this decision. The Detroit case won by ACLU has been reversed on appeal by a 2-1 vote along partisan lines.

You can't see the documents that would prove you're being spied on unless you sue. But you can't sue unless you can prove you're being spied on. Sounds like the court just wrote w a blank check. Here is the decision.

Am. Civil Liberties Union, et al. v. Nat’l Sec. Agency, et al.

Excellent news. Chalk one up for the good guys. Lucky this didn't go through the 9th circus in SF...

The ACLU won't be happy until everyone in our houses is on their prayer rugs faceing Mecca. Only problem is it won't be us. It will be the terrorists they want to help any way they can..........

Re: illegal wiretaps case bounced on appeal

well, the latest has been based on the fact that the lawsuit cannot point to the NSA as doing the ILLEGAL wiretaps.
Once the proper paperwork is submitted, we will see what happens.
Until then, privacy violation supporters: dont get your hopes up.
This case will not rest until FREEDOM remains the number one obligation.
ACLU will win.

Do you check under your bed for Islamists before you lie down at night?
