illegal wiretaps case bounced on appeal
I'm very discouraged by this decision. The Detroit case won by ACLU has been reversed on appeal by a 2-1 vote along partisan lines.
You can't see the documents that would prove you're being spied on unless you sue. But you can't sue unless you can prove you're being spied on. Sounds like the court just wrote w a blank check. Here is the decision. Am. Civil Liberties Union, et al. v. Nat’l Sec. Agency, et al.

Re: illegal wiretaps case bounced on appeal
well, the latest has been based on the fact that the lawsuit cannot point to the NSA as doing the ILLEGAL wiretaps.
Once the proper paperwork is submitted, we will see what happens. Until then, privacy violation supporters: dont get your hopes up. This case will not rest until FREEDOM remains the number one obligation. ACLU will win.
