Hillary vs. the people

One News Now
July 24, 07
Chad Groening

Washington
-A suit has been filed against a federal agency to obtain records of Hillary Clinton stored at the Clinton Presidential Library in Arkansas.

The federal agency has failed to respond to request, and now Judicial watch has filed suit against the U.S. Archives and Records Administration to obtain access to those records available to all under the freedom of information act.
Spokesman Chris Farrell says with Mrs. Clinton running for president, the public has a right to know what important information might be contained in her daily office diary, day planner, telephone log book, and other records.

My commentary: I mean, what gives???
Why does it take an act of congress to get anything not released by her publicist about Hilary Clinton from public record?
Remember her college thesis: How the Clintons hid Hillary's thesis - Hillary Clinton News - MSNBC.com

Sweden
Re: Hillary vs. the people

Sometimes, I am thankful of the strong position of the right to obtain information from government agencies has in Sweden. We have had it in our constitution since the 18th century and Sweden is the leadin proponent of such rights in the EU. Nevetheless, things like this can occur even in Sweden.
