Re: Death penalty reasoning
Quote:
How much more inclined would Americans be toward the death penalty if a larger portion of the population realized that death is not the end of ones Soul, but merely the end of ones current incarnation? And at death the Soul of the murderer will definitely go before a "judge" and will definitely go to some hell and spend a long time there "learning" that murder is not a good thing to do. This is of course the natural rehabilitation of Life, if only more in the West were aware of this reality. Peace |

Reincarnation has a germ of truth but not for those who died in a state of condemnation. The spririt is reunited with a glorified body if one believes the Biblical concept. But only for those who died in a state of grace. And peace to you. |

Re: Death penalty reasoning
Are you also opposed to legalized abortions? Just curious, but I find it interesting most people who oppose the death penalty also support legal abortions.

No - we're aware of the concept of reincarnation, we just don't base our legal system on your religion.

What I find interesting is that Christians, who profess a belief in forgiveness and redemption, turning the other cheek, ect, are often the most stringent advocates of capital punishment. |
