You took my wildly unfactual speculatoin as even partially true in order to make a sarcastic joke. Therefore it MUST be true. John McCain eats babies y'all. Maybe we can get that story going in a blog somewhere.

I fail to see how "loving" babies is mutually exclusive with eating them.

If McCain does eat babies, one must conclude that he loves them. It must follow that he is anti-gay marriage because he loves babies and supports making them, while the two making them are in a state-sanctioned contract allowing sex.
