I'm reminded of the scene from the movie Bedazzled, in which the Devil grants a poor schmuck seven wishes, which he uses to try to win the heart of this girl. Of course the Devil twists all of them into being useless. In one of them, he wishes to be President of the United States, and finds himself as Abraham Lincoln -- the day he was assassinated.

We all have our roles to play. Mine doesn't involve holding political office. Obama makes a better president than I would, not because he's wiser or his policies are better (not true), but because he's a better leader for the masses and a more appropriate figure for these times. And I would hate the job. The only way I could imagine waking up in his body is if I also woke up with his mind, in which case I'd be him and nothing would change from anyone's perspective except mine.

Open an investigation on Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton finances.
Call for an immediate vote to impeach Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, hold press conferences saying how important it is to remove these two people who at the very least knew what was going on, and most likely did not cause alarm for their own personal benefit and idealistic beliefs that have contribute to the current crises.
Freeze corporate bailouts.
Start a campaign to let out all people in jail for minor drug offenses that have never been involved in a violent crime.
Seek to pass a federal law that all first-time child molesters receive a minimum 10 years imprisonment.

I could go on...

If I woke up and found that I was Barack Obama, I'd step into traffic and take one for the team...
