Random.

This is the thread where you post whatever you want. There is no such thing as an off-topic post. I'll get things started.

Re: Random.

I used to think Quizno's was the more expensive, but superior sub. It seems, however, that over the last 2 or 3 years the quality of Quizno's subs has declined while Subway's subs have only gotten better. Top that off with the fact that Subway is even cheaper than it used to be ($5 footlongs) and it's starting to appear that Subway shits all over Quizno's.

A direct result of the economy.
People aren't in the mood to shell out $7.95 for a medium sub alone.
They were pretty awesome...but they really didn't have a choice but to cheapen the product...I don't really know if Subway is their biggest competitor or in reality - $.99 cheeseburgers from your choice of the garbage chains.

Agreed, but I always felt public libraries are under-used by the majority of those that have access. Most folks don't even have a card, much less visit regularly. If you are looking for ways to trim your budget, most even have new release movies that can be borrowed.

I was thinking growing Marijuana hydroponically in my basement is the last solid investment I can make with a good return.
But then again, I would likely burn the house down, in which case I would lose everything - and go to jail.

I always liked gardening...and now it's a recession-proof career!

a quiznos sandwich is a calorie disaster, the peppercorn black angus is over a 1000 calories...but when I do have one they are good.

That's only true if you use synthetic oil in your car. If you're still using the dino stuff, I would stick to the 3000 mile change interval. Poor Dilbert, and remember to floss dailey.

My office had a late opening today but I missed the memo...so now I'm here alone for the next two hours.
