Once when my kids were in grade school they were at a sitter's house one summer afternoon while I did some errands. There were a couple of other kids there too. The sitter's cat had just had kittens and she heard the children talking about it.

One of them said that the kittens came from the cat's rectum. THEN my son piped up and said, "NO they don't. The momma cat has an extra little slit for the kittens to come out of."

Needless to say the sitter was rather impressed with my son's grasp of feline anatomy!
