Anyone who can't ignore this thread and avoid posting in it lacks self control. However, these same people are also very smart and sexy.

Re: Please ignore this post.

Wow! We're doing great! Two whole weeks now!

I love this:

LIVING WILL

While watching a football game a couple weeks back, my wife and I were discussing life and death. I told her, "Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."

She promptly got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all my beer.

Some days I hate being married to a smartass

Re: Please ignore this post.

Having fun in retirement.

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Well for example, the other day I went into town and went to a small shop on Imperial Ave.. I was only in there for about 5 minutes. When I came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. I went up to him and said, "Come on buddy, how about giving a senior citizen a break?"

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a Nazi Bastard. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires. So I called him a piece of stinking dog crap. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, I didn't care. I came downtown by bus. I try to have a little fun each day that I'm retired. It's important at my age.

Sounds like something you would actually do.

Damn you people. I had successfully been ignoring this 'til you brought it back to my attention.
