Spad, I'd forgotten all about this thread until Tethys brought up the post where I admitted that Mrs. M is a code name! Now YOU'RE the one in trouble...got your handcuffs?

Re: Please ignore this post.

I managed to ignore this thread for almost three years. Was I supposed to ignore it indefinitely?

Re: Please ignore this post.

If I didn't know of the existence of this thread until just now, am I not ignoring it by posting in it?

This thread reminds me of friends in junior high who used to say, "Everyone look at XXXXX, she won't blush!". (I got ribbed for easily blushing.) Guess who ALWAYS blushed?

I am an American. ...a tradition

Good point. I've learned more and have improved myself as a human being more from this thread than any other thread I've ever read on this entire board. Well done Ben. Well done.

Re: Please ignore this post.

A 23 page thread out of "Please ignore this post"?

That's quite a noteworthy achievement!

I see I missed out on USPOL's "glory days".

Reverse psychology my friend.

I ought to start a new thread called "Please dont ignore this post" and see what happens.

Yap, me too, Ita...those were the days, it seems. We have a lot of catching up to do!

And I'm feeling quite dismal. I mean, my threads do well if they generate more than 3 pages and stay up for 3 days...Ben posts a thread titled "Ignore this post," and he generates 23 pages of replies, and the thread is still going three years on. Life is so unfair!

Ben knows how it's done; a few words here and there just to keep everyone riveted.

LOL! The USPO adaptation of the “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” conundrum!

I guess so, si modo…Or as Mrs M told me on that other thread, “ Feel free to help us ignore Ben and post in that thread anyway...”
