I guess you eat raw oysters, too. I can't get past the slime. And sushi is something I'll probably never try!

Ignoring this thread is fun and the best thing happening right now.

Re: Please ignore this post.

I ate a piece of octopus once, just to say that I did.

It looked like a stale pink leathery potato chip... and tasted much much worse.

Re: Please ignore this post.

let me guess...you were the kid who would eat anything on a dare. dont take that habit with you to college. I can see the headline now. "College student eats 5 pounds of dirt on drunken bet - stomach pumped at local hospital revealed undigested octopus".

No, not really. It was my friends who always ate the worms and stuff. I ate some ants one time though.

I'm really a very picky eater in general. It's the texture of stuff that gets me.

Re: Please ignore this post.

My wife ordered them many moons ago at a Traildust. (Kerosene lighting) When she got them she said "These don't look like oysters to me". I was laughing so hard she had to have the waiter explain it to her.

Re: Please ignore this post.

They're not bad, and the connotations usually give the other member of the pair ideas, if you know what I mean. Definitely no worse than oysters. Or large intestines.
