I guess I'm one of the 6% who was breastfed but still turned out gay.Missouri U.S. senate candidate Todd Akin has stoked more outrage today by claiming that male homosexuality is a disease and that the medical establishment has found the cure.
The Republican congressman, already under fire for his controversial comments regarding rape, told a reporter for Cape Giradeau's KBSI 23 News that "female breastmilk - when fed directly to an adult homosexual male daily for at least four weeks - has a 94% chance of permanently curing homosexual perversions."
I think the NRSC can now take Missouri out of the toss-up/leans GOP gain column, and the DSCC can now safely put this seat in the likely Dem hold category. Mitch McConnell's takeover of the senate just got one seat harder.

Silly me. I was sent the article by a friend, and in my haste to further pile on to Akin I failed to get the sarcasm in the article. For the record, it is a spoof article. I'll now movce the thread to "just for fun".

I would suggest that the study is actually valid....but probably prohibited under the Geneva Conventions in that having to drink breastmilk for 4 weeks is certainly some kind of torture.
