So very low. She went on this huge muckety muck about being a great mother. And she openly says she is using her 7 year old as a human shield for boos at the Flyers game. Why would you say "they won't boo Piper." That's INCREDIBLY selfish. And of course, the poor child was booed along with her older sister. Yes the crowd was rude and shuoldnt' have booed the kid.

But has anyone noticed that, with the exception of a brief appearance at the DNC when they talked to their dad on television and walking around on stage with him at the very end of his speech, you NEVER see Malia and Sasha Obama. I see Bristol and Piper all. the. time. Don't those kids belong in school? Shouldn't Bristol and her fiancee be like..getting ready to raise their family? Something is up.

I would bring up the fact that she's been the chief attacking catspaw for McCain to call Obama "hussein" but it wouldn't really be honest. I just sorta dislike any woman who wants to force women who would die in childbirth or little girls raped by family members to have the children anyway.

I've been flamed for even daring to suggest that Palin has used the children in the past. Since I'm somewhat new here and have seen some pretty nasty exchanges already, all I'm going to say is that you aren't the only one who feels the Palins are doing these children a huge disservice by not putting their needs ahead of the parents' aspirations.

Before I am flamed too much, let me say I had the same feelings about the Clintons during 1991 & 1992. For those too young to remember, Chelsea was a freckled 12 yo in braces who hadn't mastered hair products just yet in 1992. The right-wing press was absolutely vicious toward the child. It was appalling.
After the election, Hillary removed Chelsea nearly totally from the spotlight until she accompanied her parents on a whistle-stop tour across America in 1996 (photo below). According to Chelsea, she had to beg her parents to be allowed to go on that trip.
One notable exception to the shielding of Chelsea was when Bill Clinton announced to the world that he had philandered with Monica. Chelsea and Hillary were both there for that and one has to wonder what 15 yo Chelsea, who obviously was very close to her father (the press often got long-distance shots like the one below of Bill and Chelsea on outings during the shielded periods) thought of that whole mess.

So will someone criticise Obama for using his children, or does the Messiah not count?

With all the actual issues to discuss, this crap just falls flat.

Really? You haven't seen the photo ops, the TV programmes, the kids obediently standing by daddy while he speaks - all from the Obamas? You haven't heard how often they mention them? I'm sorry, I forgot that the Messiah doesn't count.

I have only seen the Obama children twice - once at the nomination and once after a debate. Please give me links to photos of the children being carted around like Palin's children have if you can.

The above are also the only times I have seen McCain's one minor child and Biden's daughter.

He actually used them in an advertisement.

But, I won't criticize any of the candidates for it, unless they do it all the time.
