Well, there is not much point trying to discuss things with a person that considers everybody in the military to be a "fool". Because they are sure that everybody else is yet another mindless thug.

I don't think we should attack Iran unless it attacks us first. We are not Nazi's nor are we Soviets, we should lose the notion that preemptive war is an acceptable practice. Have we all gone mad and traded our ethics and our morals for unfounded fear and starting wars? This whole Iran "nuclear" scare is a facade, it is a lie, an excuse to attack them. Iran wants to sell her oil for EURO's....Start her own exchange with the EURO as the default currency. And that is why they want to attack Iran. Because, if Iran does start pricing it's oil in EURO's, other O.P.E.C. countries might follow suit. If America were to lose petro-dollar dominance, It would signal the end of the U.S. dollar practically over night.

But they've also NEVER said this. The only reference ther has EVER been was a letter from Khomenei to Rafsanjani in the 1988 about what it would take to defeat Iraq, including nukes. The war ended shortly after.

Aside from that, they've never said it. And they most likely haven't collectively made a decision yet.
