Re: Whats your favorite firearm?

FN Scar seems like a good concept to me, particularly since it can be configured to pick up AK-47 clips.

Thats the same model Danish police have. They have shot and killed many people with these guns since they got them 6 years ago.

Re: Whats your favorite firearm?

I'm only familiar with one. A Winchester model 9422 lever action 22 - a gift from my father in law. I go target shooting with him about once a year. My sons have used it more than I have. It's a beautiful rifle.

Re: Whats your favorite firearm?

Alas, I only have one; a Remington 470 12-gauge pump. I like it. Pretty accurate, very easy to maintain.

Re: Whats your favorite firearm?

Favorites? AR15, Remington 870 12GA, Smith 686 6" 357, Ruger 22/45, Kimber Combat, Colt Cobra, Smith model 59.

Never did like Glock much, and 40cal is too much a compromise.

In rifles, the AR-15.

In pistols, the classic 1911 pattern .45 auto. In particular, these two:

Re: Whats your favorite firearm?

My brothers have a .22 and a 12 gauge.

The latter is quite fun to shoot.

Re: Whats your favorite firearm?

Of the ones I've gotten to know in the military, I prefer the MP5. Light, accurate and easy to use. Easy to handle when exiting and entering smaller vehicles, which security guards necessarily have to do.

The AG3 (Norwegian version of the G3A3) is more of a cannon. What most divisions use, and what we were handed in boot camp.

As for pistols, we never got to try the glock. Don't know why. I have gotten the chance to try a colt .45 and a 9mm luger a few years back, though.

And of course a 12 gauge. To get a hunting license.

Kind of weird for me to pick a favourite firearm, but I do own one. It is not for hunting, not for self-defence:
The Sauer. I competed for about 4 years. One hell of an accurate weapon. Sauer at the bottom of the picture.
