I used to find her interesting and fun to watch. Unlike Madonna, another famous pop star with whom she has been sometimes compared, I think she is very talented, can actually sing, looks great and those crazy outfits crack me up. I have always regarded Madonna as a boring, greedy moron that used sexuality with the aplomb and sublety of a chainsaw to make a name for herself, and has attempted to keep the spotlight on herself for 25 years by increasingly desparate and ludicrous antics. She doesn't even sing at her own friggin concerts anymore, not that her voice is anything special anyway.
Then Gaga does the double-bird-flip at a Mets game, apprently unhappy with the media attention she was getting. wtf?
Then she starts dressing like a nun and swallowing rosary beads in the "Alejandro" video. This is the kind of lame-assed, witless, low-rent faux-religious imagery I would expect from a shameless turd like Madonna. I am now not so happy with this woman.

This is what comes of any involvement with most musicians beyond listening to their records. Enjoy the talents of talented people and then leave it there. Requiring your favorite musician or athlete or chess champion to meet your behavioral and political expectations is a losing proposition.
