no he wasn’t but I’d say his record on "crime” and the legislation he helped fight or enact are relevant, such as his lonely ( only 2 other people agreed with him) to attempt to strip out a provision in a crime bill that had gang members on probation had to stay away from other gang elements while on probation....I'd say thats not quite logical, at least to me.

That's what has surprised me so much about this election. We only have two senators from whom to chose (if we vote for one of the two parties, that is). And, Senators haven't fared well in past elections against those who were governors (not since 1960, that is).

Especally when they're both running on 'washington outsider' tickets as well. Its one of the reasons why I think that the whole 'experience' issue is a non-issue-neither have experience in this kind of job and Palins is at best limited. TBH you can't really have experience to be President-its the biggest job in the world, no ones really prepared for it.
