Obama's Magic
this is pretty funny
But at the same time it does point out some rather inexplicable things related to the senator's platform. Just a couple items to tempt you to hit the link. And I'm kinda of curious as to why these things don't seem to interest Americans universally. Oh wait ! Dancing with the Stars is back ! And football ! Quote:

You know what the major part of stage magic consists of? Misdirection. You know what that line consisted of? Misdirection. 95% of working families 40% of Americans Are these percentages of the same thing? No. Are they presented as if they were? Yes. Is this misleading? Yes. Time to move along. |

Who is perpetrating that ? BHO has to word it that way to include those who either pay no taxes or actually get refundable tax credits or, in french, free money from actual taxpayers. Time to face the non-sense the kid is throwing out there.

Since that 40% figure includes that little kid, which no common-sense approach would include when figuring out who gets a cut because DUH! -- of COURSE little kids who don't have jobs won't get a cut -- that's the misleading one. In fact, that 40% figure is VERY misleading, because at first glance it looks like there's a whole lot of people out there in the lower end of the pay scales who are working full-time jobs but pay no taxes. And that's just total bullshit. |

And for tonight's finale, the Great Obama will uphold America's "moral" obligation to "stop genocide" by abandoning Iraq! While teleported to the region, he will simultaneously convince Iranian leaders to peacefully abandon their nuclear pursuits (even as he does not sit down with them), fix Afghanistan with a strategy that does not resemble the Iraqi surge, and (drumroll!) pull Osama bin Laden out of his hat! Tada! Applauds...... talk about a 'hard to follow act'...... And an ACT is what he is.

I can't wait until Obama starts to become like a solar panel, trapping all the good will around the world that Bush could never get, because he acted like a fucking yahoo on the world stage. The ability to acquire good will goes a long way, something the modern Republican party has forgotten.

[Emphasis mine] I suppose we should take this claim as seriously as your claim that you have taken off your "partisan blinders", too.

There hasn't been anyone else in my life who insists on talking about me as much as you have. I'm glad I interest you so much. Thanks. To clarify, yes, if you look at where I stand on things and look at America's history, I'd be a classicly moderate-to-conservative person. Very conservative on fiscal policy, small but efficient gov't, strong on defense but upholding the Constitution and the historic values of non-interventionism, a libertarian streak on social issues. I think I hold a moderate to conservative view on abortion; Rudy Giuliani expressed it better than any other Republican candidate running for president. Universal healthcare is considered somehow to be a liberal position, yet it's been instituted in most every industrialized nation by both conservatives and liberals because economically, it costs less, so that's actually a conservative position. Other positions I have are not liberal or conservative, but in America, it's all been twisted by nonsense. Like gays serving in the military. Get over it already. There's nothing political about the issue, it's just that Americans have turned it into that. Gays serve in militaries of many other free nations, and there's no second-thinking about it. It's an American hang-up by stubborn and closed-minded people, but they've successfully somehow made it a conservative issue out of it. Modern conservatism in America has been perverted by neo-con maggots who injected self-righteousness, their virtue of non-thinkery, and religiosity into a party that I would have been gladly a member of more than 40 years ago.

Re: Obama's Magic
And after that we bring you McCain the Magnificent. First he will thrill you by funding hundreds of new programs without raising taxes and then he will chill you by fighting not one but two wars, yes, that's right, two wars, simultaneously, all with no visible means of support whatsoever.
McCains beautiful assistant will not be with us tonight, as she is still being fingerprinted and processed in Wasilla Just so you''ll know, if his illusions look a little familiar McCain was a student of Bush the Bombastic, whose classic trick of making your retirements disappear is still being talked about by audiences everywhere. |
