Yeah, I knew that I lived far away from everyone else, but when you see an actual representation via a map, it becomes quite depressing.

Oh, yeah, I'm right on the beach. :P I have to drive like 5 minutes, and I'm there.

Kind of lame that I can't zoom in at all, though.

Of course you can, just double click on the location you wan't to center it, than use the tabs at the left. I belive there are 10 zoom levels.

I know, I get an ok sattelite shot. The problem is that I can't see any details the way you can.

Try zooming in on something else than Oslo in Norway. My home town, for instance (about 24,000 people). I can see cars and houses where you live, but not here. Would be fun to see my house from above, but it doesn't really matter.
