I think I could participate in this. I don't know where I'll be living about four months from now though.

re: The USPOL Traveling Item

LMAO

OK, a few more rules.

1) Steve, nobody wants to know where you live.

2) Nothing illegal in the box.

3) No destroying the item.

Speakeasy's avatar would be a great doll to have, but could be difficult to find.

I almost wonder if it would be a good idea to have both a book and a stuffed critter. Think that'd be too much to keep track of?

Trav, I may very well take you up on that. In this economy, an overseas shipping cost can be expensive!

It looks like we've got 7 willing participants. If we can get that to 10, I'll set up a custom email account, and maybe a web page (got the space) to get things going.

BTW, if you've got lurkers in the various private forums that may or may not exist, and they might be interested, please have them sign up. I think 10-15 participants would be ideal. That would give the critter a chance to hit a fair amount of ground.

Maybe I could start instead of you pram? I still got my sisters handmade tiger (I think), but it doesnt have affection value for me anymore. Its about 30 - 40 centimeters long, and the very fact that its handmade makes it exclusive enough to send around to you guys.

Ill even tape some danish stuff around it too just for the hell of it...

Hmm. That's an interesting thought. It'd save us one leg over the pond, which saves someone 20 bucks and knocks out a couple weeks.

I don't have any objection.

Well, I insist on sending it to Traveler first (assuming I can find it), and I dont want it back for the love of fucking Christ!

That's such a shame, it is honestly one of the coolest avatars i have ever seen...

Indeed, i may be able to do it a couple times with 3 trips planned in the short while ahead. (I'll keep you informed as to where and what so it doesn't mess up your plans!)

re: The USPOL Traveling Item

This is going to be so fun.... It would be cool to have a site set up so that we could upload photos and keep track of him/her in real time and see where s/he is. That way we all get to see the pics rather than just the next person. I mean the first person sees no pics and the last person sees them all.

Just a thought... count me in. I will ship anywhere. Work loves to pay my postage

Oh... and nothing that looks like Speakeasy's avitar.... that thing really creeps me out.

re: The USPOL Traveling Item

Well, looking at the poll, it appears that we're pretty much good to go. I'm going to give it a little time for others to join in if they're interested, and then I'll get the page going. I've been needing an excuse to teach myself Dreamweaver...

I should mention - if you want to include yourself in the pictures, please feel free, but if you're concerned about privacy, that's OK, too. And, as far as privacy goes, while I know that I've tweaked more than a few noses in my time here, I swear on my highest honor that I will not distribute personal information without express permission.

I'll set up an email alias shortly so I can get addresses and a plan going. I figure as few international borders that can be crossed, the better!

It'd be really fun if I had it during Mardi Gras! I'd take it to the parades and ask the cute guys to hold it for pictures....oh yeah....I could have LOTS of fun...
