What an odd creature he was. Hated his music.

Celebrity Gossip | Entertainment News | Celebrity News | TMZ.com Jackson Dies

Posted Jun 25th 2009 5:20PM by TMZ Staff

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

Story developing...

Re: Michael Jackson dead

As weird as he was his death is still riveting and shocking. When you are this successful you affect so many people on so many levels. Its a shame his life went to shit in his latter years. RIP.

Re: Michael Jackson dead

Yup, I just got a call from a buddy of mine who's a security guard next door to the hospital he was taken to. Heart attack apparently. I have no love for Mike or his pedophile ways. Now, should be interesting to see who hops on board the last will and testament soul train to pick what is left of his "Pop" empire.
a heart attack is so anti-climatic..Would of been better if his nose had fallen into his mouth and he choked to death on it.

Why was it a shame? It was his own, personal decision to participate in molestation and vanity. The guy was deeply troubled and obviously hid it very well in his younger years.

I don't think he had much left .. he was already on the verge of bankruptcy.

What does this have to do with Breaking News in Politics. Should this not be it the Off Topic section. He was a sick pervert and should have died years ago.

I find his death neither shocking nor riveting.

I never thought he was long for this world seeing him in the last few years.

Re: Michael Jackson dead

I remember Michael Jackson in my early teens in the Jackson 5. No matter what his life turned into there is no doubt that he is the King of PoP. What a shock. I mean you can tell who a walking heart attack is. To me--it's unusual--because he was thin--& I imagine fairly good shape--because of his endurance on a stage. All of his close ties--said he was healthy?

This is a shock!

Re: Michael Jackson dead

The guy obviously suffered from mental disorders. He seemed to live a very tormented life. Whether guilty or not, paying off families is the smartest move he could have made. So it really doesn't speak to his guilt or not.

Aside from all that his music was great and will live on for decades.
