Re: What's your changing in the past 5 years?
Its been a an interesting last five years. As with any parent watchig our daughter go from 11 to 16 has beena huge part of it. Sometimes heartwarming, other times heartbreaking but all in all shes a great young lady.
Had a lot of illness to deal with in the family, thats been no fun at all. Its sad to see whats become of politics, so little honor, no sense of service. I wish there were more successes than failures in managing the environment but we're still near pegged to the failure end. Its really shocking to see France and Germany heading conservative while the US is heading socialist. They seem to have started learning their lessons while we refuse to acknowledge reality.

Re: What's your changing in the past 5 years?
In the last five years my politics have changed a lot. I've lost confidence in the American people's ability to manage a republic. As a people the Americans seem to have decided that they don't want to manage their own affairs but would rather have government make the hard decisions for them. I have been feeling like a stranger in my own land. As a consequence I have felt more and more disaffected and detached from what once supported with my whole heart. I fear what the future will bring. If my state could leave the union I would happily go with it and start over from the beginning.

Re: What's your changing in the past 5 years?
Stupid comment of yours and truely not necessary as a response to winter6245765's (
, sorry not good at remembering numbers) post.Damn it, he just posted his personal opinion about personal matters/feelings, so get yourself some empathy to respect that. Anyway I haven't changed that much during the past 5 years, apart from the political/emotional edges being cut back a bit and the feeling setting in, that nothing is ever eaten as hot as it's cooked. Back in the days I'd just judge people/events harsher than today and it's good to see, that even I do finally grow up and lose that juvenile habit.
