Well, it is a fact that breeders cross strains to get more THC out of it.
Dutch research showed that the THC percentage of local grown weed has rised from 8-9% average in the '90s to 18-25% now.
Also, lots of chemicals (hormons and stuff) are used to artifically raise the genetical THC level of strains.

Since a couple of years, a lot of breeders are crossing in ruderalis with indica's and sativa's. Those plants flower automatically after some internodes, independant of light regime.
Really amazing what an evolution went on in the pot scene in a couple of decades..

Try some Malawi or Thai crossed strain, or maybe Sour Diesel or Amnesia haze.
