So I'm out doing spring clean up yard work and this wetback family pulls up in a truck (nicer one than I drive, in fact) They can't speak but a few words in english but I figure out they want to know about my house, since they're pointing at the for sale sign. I tell them I'm busy and can't show it to them, the hombre wants to know how mucho, and I tell them. I go back to work and go around back to the garage to get a tarp to pile leaves on. So I go thru my back door and the whole fucking family is standing in my house! My male dog has got ahold of the senorita's "choo" , she's scared but her husband is laughing. I say "what the fuck are you doing???? They have no earthly idea that they've done anything wrong and are all smiling at each other and looking around, so I shoo them out the door and the man says "I talk to my brodder, I come back, ees nice house, I be back". (this is back out in the front yard) He says "ees jore house?" If I knew Spanish I would have told him, no, I'm just the fucking wetback that does the yardwork, American's won't do that shit, jew noe?"
Oh, and FYI, I WILL NOT sell my house to a fucking wetback, I don't care how much he and his brodder have piled under their mattresses.
Take a good hard look, it's coming.

LOL, I hear ya. Some blacks wanted to buy my gramp's house back in the early '70's, he said he was tempted (they offered 15% more than the asking price) but he lied and told them he had already accepted another offer. Gramps told me later he knew they were trying to bust into the neighborhood (would have been the first blacks within 3 blocks or more).
Grandpa told me he could have made more money but was concerned about the well being of his neighbors left behind. How I miss the good old days when folks were not so selfishly motivated by greed and money, but instead were driven by a sense of community, integrity, and honor. Wistful sigh.
