    Tips....vendor control boxes

When your set goes haywire (Cable)

    1. Disconnect vendor box from wall wait a few minutes and reconnect. It often resets itself and your back in business.

    2. It the set turns on but you are unable to get your channels...

Depress the power button on the vendor box. These boxes are getting old. Vendor says they send signal to the box every so many minutes to keep it on but sometimes the box does not respond and the control turns off.

Simple if you become familiar with the problem. ( The vendors tr to blame it on your OLD TV) not the old box you are paying monthly rent on.

    3. ask for a new box. - You rent it, therefore demand a new one now and again.

    Absolutely!

I must commend Cox Cable as the last time I had a problem they had a guy out with a new box on a Sunday even though I told them it could wait.
