Just as I was listening to this group--all the political talking heads--we're asking what their demands were for actual action--versus just a protest--and--this came off of another board. It's clear that these people are very young--indoctrinated into socialism--fighting against the evil empire of Capitalism--and they like their leader (Barack Obama) hasn't a clue as to how this economy actually WORKS.

So what do you all think about their PLAN--LOL?
Whoever created the list is pretty numb and their leader John Boehner had better drag them back to reality.

ROFLMFAO. You think John Boehner is the leader of these protestors.

    Wow.

I thought their list of demands was daft, but you've quickly exceeded their level of silliness.

Most of their ideas wouldn't seem to work in practice. "Free" college education and "free" healthcare actually can work, Germany has those and has been quite successful (they're not 'free' of course, they're paid through taxation). However, I'm not sure many/most of the other ideas have any track record of working in successful countries. I haven't gone through them all in detail.
Liberals fail to recognize that modern conservatives are direct evidence of the failure of the public education system.

Now if John could get them to reign in their demands a little ... some of these might be workable.

They seem to be the typical leftist rag-tags.

If you've watched them the overwhelming majority are YOUNG. Probably most of them are those 20 and 30 years old's in this economy that have been hit the worst--in unemployment--still living with their parents. IOW--lots and lots of time to protest.

But let's face it. Barack Obama started this movement with his rhetoric against corporations and the "evil" rich in this country. And if there is any violence associated with this protest--I am going to POINT my finger right at BARRY for inciting it.

This may be a dumb question but if everyone is going to be handed a "free" living wage income just for sucking air then why bother with the rest of the stuff? I figure if I'm getting a regular check, don't have to worry about paying for medical care and automatically get all of my debt wiped out...that's a pretty good deal! Hell, I could even hit up the University for that PhD in Masters of Guitar rock from 1954-1982 that I always wanted.

Where do you suppose these protester's got their education--LOL. I have never read anything so economically inept--in all my life. Their education came from being indoctrinated from kinder garden to 12th grade--If they made it that far--from public school teachers and professors--along with BARRY OBAMA's rhetoricin his attack on corporations and the "evil" rich people in this country.

There are only 220,000 Americans out of 310 MILLION that make 1 million a year and over. Just where in the hell are these idiots coming from. Spend 1 trillion here--1 trillion there--LOL

Their list is ridiculous. What a way to waste efforts on protesting.

All those KINKO'S pre-manufactured signs in masse--are a little over the top. I am beginning to think this protest was arranged by the likes of Van Jones--a former CZAR of Barry Obama--that wanted to let violent felons out of our prisons--so they could do "green jobs work."

Right, so you quote what one blogger in the blogosphere has to say and now it's the truth about what is going on out there and what they want?

What's with Republicans believing everything they read on the internet, regardless of the source?

Re: Occupy Wall Street Protester's list their DEMANDS.

The demands are a hodge podge of the many groups gathered under one banner.
Each demand has some merit, restoring trade tariffs would increase US employment, free college works in many countries, (countries that are eating our lunch BTW), universal single payer health care could save trillions, getting away from fossil fuels makes sense, nuclear has serious problems (financial and political).

But don't miss the bigger point, anger is welling up on the left, just like it welled up on the right (and coalesced into the Teaparty).
There are copy cat demonstrations popping up around the country and unlike the Teaparty they don't have a major network announcing when their events will be held and providing celebrity speakers.
