Imperialism? What imperialism? We might have Imperialism if there was a coherent overseas policy that actually helped the nation whiel screwing over people elsewhere.

So the They is most of us again.

If it bleeds or jiggles it leads. All us again.

There was a covered up oil spill? Last one i noticed was not covered up it was constantly on the air.

Those pesky politicians are most responsible for the situation, we vote, it's on our shoulders again.

They will support any means of making money that is cheaper then easy to burn dirt. Becasue they like money.

On us again, we elect those pesky politicians.

They wouldn't profit if it was a failure.

    Some have, all haven't.

We let them an awful lot of the time.

    They really don't.

Read your contracts, don't sign ones you don't like.

Aren't we all part of the global village, should we deny our brothers and sisters in other lands employment?

That's on all of us again becasue of those pesky politicians we keep electing.

Education is free to the student from grades K-12.

Workers should have the right to organize but employers should be under no legal compulsion to negotiate with unions.

If we weren't' supposed to eat animals why are they made of meat?

They did? Who are these bastards? Names of firms would be good here.

They do? Last I looked corporate culture was bending over backwards to be inclusive. Equal pay for equal work .

Some of They had the money forced on them in a ridiculous balancing act and power grab of the federal government. Are employers supposed to violate contracts with their employees just because?

It requires a legal system in place to cooperate and violate it's own rules and standards for this to happen.
All these issues have pretty much made there way into debate. Its certainly not a list like the bloggers stupid ass list.

Most of their ideas seem to work in practice? Where? Outer Moronica?
FYI, "wouldn't" is a contraction of the words "would" and "not".
Liberals fail to recognize that modern conservatives are direct evidence of the failure of the public education system.

Not everyone is there for the same reason. So, no, those demands are not "common place".

The only real narrative at work here can be derived from the mission statement released by those who helped to organize and start this thing, and decries the unfairness of the current system, where people who work for their money are having a hard time of it, getting laid off, seeing their collective bargaining rights get taken away from them, seeing their jobs shipped overseas, seeing their tuition and health care costs going up and up and up as far as the eye can see, coming out of school with ridiculous amounts of debt while those who make their money speculating sit back and live like barons.

There are Republicans condescending here when they run their crooked flywheels that these people are looking for a gov't handout.

They're not. They want basic fairness. A system that appears to work for them instead of against them the way they've seen it going the last decade.

Unlike the teabaggers, these are peaceful people who aren't bringing guns to their rallies. They are bringing their drums and musical instruments and songs though, along with humor and imagination and an overall feeling that something is terribly broken and needs to be addressed like the day before yesterday.

Let us take a drive to the scene of the crime and shine a light on what's really wrong with this country. Peacefully. It's about time. I hope we see a throng of people down there the likes of which haven't been seen since the depression.

    Here's a link to a list of demands I read today - http://occupywallst.org/forum/propos...all-st-moveme/

I'll list the demands as written -

    [FONT="]

Now I'm sure that this list isn't "official" in any capacity but it certainly does embrace a number of the more common interests I have seen expressed....and it's insane.
Yeah, some of the items on that list are pretty stupid.. seems to be written by someone who is quite naive. It also lacks focus. But like you said, it isn't some kind of "official" list, it's just something written by some blogger. I don't believe there is any official list yet (although I might be mistaken). This whole thing has no leadership (proudly so, by it's own accord), and I have a feeling that this particular set of protests will calm down and fade away.

However, this could be the start of a bigger, more organized movement, with greater focus. And I still think there can be much common ground between this movement and the Tea Party. Basically, we're all sick of the status quo of shitty government.

Looking at the array of signs these idiots made up I came to the conclusion that they have no specific agenda. I especially like the "genocide" sign.........what a band of morons.
Take a good hard look, it's coming.

Interesting that they are demanding a Presidential Commission to investigate what Sarah Palin recently spoke out against- "crony capitalism."

Most of them are just upset they can't sit on their behinds and play with their I-Phones and be paid to do it. After all, government has been telling people for 2 generations now that they'd take care of them from cradle to grave.

Guess they actually believe that drivel.

The govt is indeed tending towards fascism. Im not seeing it with corporations, though. They do not force anyone to use their products.

When these gutter floaters threaten the ability of people to feed their families the people they are chasing will turn around and attack. The wealthy will sit back while the working class folks bash each other's heads in on the streets.

    Re: Occupy Wall Street

This movement is kind of comical but it also has a French Revolution feel to it. The sooner it peters out the better, imo.
