Yeah. It's a massive populist uprising of dozens of people with hundreds of cameras and thousands of blog posts about getting pepper sprayed by a cop.
So far it seems to pretty much define "fail".

Any thoughts on the socialists occupying wall street and protesting against...something? One guy on CNN today was talking about how he had to lie and call in sick to go, and hoped he didnt get fired. So he could go protest corporations who hired him. And another was talking about how they were uploading stuff constantly using the Mac, made by a corporation.
I hate to give these guys any attention, but they are quite entertaining. Apparently this is Arab Fall and theres going to be a revolution to overthrow capitalism, according to the media that supports them.

I just love how they have no clue what captialism is.

I find it shocking they are shocked they can block traffic, interfere with commerce, cause a public disturbance, disobey police orders to establish a safe public environment, interfere with legal operations of the police, assault police and get pepper-sprayed.
Can we just declare Wall St a non-lethal weapons testing ground?
I bet we could put a big dent on the deficit if we put that on pay-per-view.
So, apparently they are against campaign finance?
http://www.adbusters.org/blogs/adbus...allstreet.htmlwe demand that Barack Obama ordain a Presidential Commission tasked with ending the influence money has over our representatives in Washington
Shouldnt they be occupying the White House then? Theyre demanding democracy, but Im not sure they understand how democracy works, and they seem blind to the fact that Obama is doing the very things they demand he put a stop to. Didnt he just have $38,000 a plate dinners with corporate executives? They dont seem to get that in order to change lobbying and campaign finance they would first have to pass a constitutional amendment as the Supreme Court rules money is speech (which is obvious). What they should do is support the tea party and conservatives to reduce the power of govt.
These people won't get any traction - especially in the mainstream media who are deeply vested in safeguarding and legitimizing the status quo. But clearly protest is the only thing left to people. After all, wall street's corruption, criminality, and unrestrained political power are clearly supported by both parties. Every white house staff is crawling with goldman sachs employees and obama's current chief of staff is from jp morgan. The protests are an amateurish and naive acknowledgement that mainstream political action is useless in addressing wall st abuses. But their existence tells us about who owns our government and the ridicule heaped on them tells about who owns our media.

You mean there were stupid kids lead by communists protesting capitalism????????????????? Just another day in the USA.
Moderates are not republicans

Hey, it's not the U.S.A. You don't see retards marching in Nebraska, do you? For some reason it's only in New York City, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
