The Progressive Left houses lot's of bigotry be it racism, antisemitism, misogyny...it's all there. When Palin got the nod from McLame the progressives came out assaulting her becasue she was a woman not becasue she was a moron of Bidenesque proportion.

Actually all Americans harbor some form of bigotry ... we are human.

Many of us are more than capable of not allowing petty and base notions to pollute our ability to be fair and productive and to act without compromising our expressed beliefs.

Yes many do work against their inner nature to harbor prejudices and succeed quite well. But we are human and attitudes exist across all American society. All races, religions, creeds, and even atheists harbor and express prejudice.

If anyone let's such base nonsense impact their trade and ability to prosper they are fools. Tossing aside ones own ideals to take a disgusting shot at "the opposition" along bigoted lines shows one to be of low character and capacity.

I love the mature dialogue that our nation has come to.

    "Tea Party is racist!"
    "Democrats are racist!"
    "Occupy Wall Street is racist!"
    "Republicans are racist!"
    "White people are racist!"
    "Black people are racist!"
    "Obama is racist!"
    "Rick Perry is racist!"

At the very least, at least we can dispel the notion that the left is the only one to wantonly toss around accusations of racism.

If you supposed there was no bigotry on the left ... you supposed wrong. I'm not moved by it though ... America is one of the most tolerant countries on this planet. I've stood with cons and libs and heard plenty. I suppose by the time I was 14, I had been racially insulted 5 to 10 thousand times. Truly I lost count. I still believe for the most part Americans do pretty well ... both the left and the right.

It's pretty funny how michael h doesn't do the whole "we're all bigots" thing in threads about the Tea Party. Even funnier because the Tea Party actually isn't bigotted while the Occupy guys are.

I notice that you left out Mexicans. Do you think that Mexicans are incapable of racism? I think you might have a little bit of a buried issue there amigo!

CB love your neighbor brother. You don't see me hacking down the tea party like you do OWS. That's because I don't get insecure because someone protests and go hide in my closet / or scream the sky is falling and its raining communists. No bigots on the right ... ah you got me there ... did you mean like the monkey photo of Obama from the California pub?

    a) What monkey photo? That would be awesome.

    b) A monkey photo of Obama isn't racist. I mean, unless you have different standards of what is allowed for blacks and whites and, well, that would be pretty racist.

Proof positive bigotry exists on both sides of the aisle. Are you counting the number of times you will give in or the number of times you accept racism and excuse it?

Hmmm... I recall chimp photos of Bush. I'd say it was damned filthy comparison to make in regards to the poor chimps.

That could be said for Obama too ... except when the context is racial.
