Again the tea party is composed of Americans who believe in the r4epublic. The OWS are composed of idiots used by communists who hate the republic. OWS is what democracy looks like and it is why the founders never wanted us to be one.
Moderates are not republicans

Hey now there's an idea RB, Genghis Khan being a Republican! If that was the case, maybe there would finally be a Republican candidate we could get behind...![]()

Haha, your prefferences may need tweaking....she'll know how to tweak them of course.(Didn't realize you weren't into blonde women!!)
A combination of Genghis and Atilla may just be conservative enough - and i think that's where even the OWS crowd doesn't have anything to worry about as far as the TP goes. Even the TP are just basically fiscal conservatives without any social agenda behind it - half of them even say that they don't care about social issues. Military issues are a bit stronger, but only because some like Alan West served...don't let the OWS crowd make the same mistake and forget about what is core to the base, if they ever go mainstream or organized.

That's the beauty of the OWS movement (and their General Assemblies). It's all horizontal (not vertical). Everyone gets a say. It's about community and solidarity. I've been reading some Dispatches from OccupyPhilly (from an anarchist, of course), and it's really inspiring stuff.
Edit: I'm into blondes ... just prefer brunettes.![]()

Well that's not so bad then...We'll see if we can take this part of the conversation somewhere more private for a more "in depth" analysis, if you will. Been contemplating the idea of allowing folks to use background images in posts and stuff given the feedback i've gotten.
So you think any of the OWS crowd may formally push for a challenge to hit Obama from the left or anything come convention time? I think quite a few of them have spoken ill of every politician, so i can't think of who they'd try support...and i assume you're as disgusted with the GOP field as much as most Republicans are as well? The TP/OWS movements have come at a time when there seems to be an all time high in angst over both major parties.

While I certainly respect your service to this country and do regardless of your political or social beliefs, it is fallacious to say that the fact that you were in the military means you know anything about being American, as based on your view that there is no such thing as "being American." This is a common argument of the left, where they say "this guy is liberal and he served in the military" as if that validates their beliefs. It doesn't. You don't understand that. End of story.
