James Baker was the catalyst for getting Bush into the White House, and every possible string was pulled, because there was a lot more at stake than just havding a Republican in the White House. It could not be ANY republican, it had to be George W. Bush, no one else.....

It had to be Bush because he was the perfect "Manchurian Candidate" that had a simple enough mind that could be controlled by the real leaders, those that wrote, and directed the PNAC (Project For A New American Century) and "The Clean Break Policy."

Those two policies had been written in the early, and mid nineties by neo conservatives, with one goal in mind, total control of the Middle East, its oil, its people, and all else that could be obtained from having control.

They were ready to implement it, but they did not have the means to do so...They needed , not just control of the White House, but control of the occupant, namely the President.

And they set up George W. Bush to be that individual. He was the perfect choice. He was their "perfect Manchurian Candidate. A simple minded boob that could easily swayed, and controlled, and the trigger was Dick Cheney, who had been sent to little Georgy, by daddy, to go out and find the best candidate to be Vice President.

Cheney did, exactly, that...and when he came back from his, alleged, country wide search...he told Georgy that he found the perfect VP candidate....HIMSELF.


And so, the "trigger" was in place. Dick Cheney was this Manchurian Candidate's Queen of Diamonds.

And, what would trigger little Georgy??/ What would be the key words that would enable them to trigger George and implement the PNAC and Clean Break?

Two simple little words....."Saddam Hussein"

They needed to convince Georgy that Saddam had to be taken out because he had initiated a plot to have George Senior assassinated. It was imbedded into little Georgy's head.

We know, from transcripts, and records, that from the days, even before, he was elected President, he had made many statement that Saddam, Hussein needed to be removed.

It was one of the first things he insisted on after Becoming President. "Find me a way to attack Iraq", he said.
And he got his wish, he got the tool that he needed, and it came on 9/11.

And the rest, as we now know, is History.

Is this how it all happened? I, for one, ABSOLUTELY BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE REASON WE ARE NOW IN THE MESS WE ARE IN.

Litttle Georgy had a vendetta against Saddam Hussein. Cheney, Perle, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and many others, all the archtects of the two policies I mentioned earlier, they had a goal and using the simplistic mind of George W.Bush, they now had the gun with which to pull the trigger, and Dick Cheney, the trigger, did it.

This has been MY theory from even before we invaded Iraq. I have posted in many times...and sad to say, I KNOW I AM RIGHT...there is no doubt in my mind........................NEM

George W. Bush lost the popular vote. The bottom line in my mind is that he won because he's good at being absolute and certain, even if it's wrong and that liberals in America are too sissy and don't fight hard enough or shout loud enough. Progressive people came to America to make it better than "over there" where all societies knew about was aristocracy or poverty. Progressive people changed that, and laid out a new deal that said that we wanted to live somewhere where you've got a chance at something more moderate and balanced than one end or the other of the spectrum.

And it's that lovely middleground that makes it so that those kinds of candidates have a hard time winning because middleground people compromise, listen, think things over. All Al Gore had to do, and I wish somebody close to him could have gotten in his face about it, was simply pretend that he was the obvious choice of the entire nation since he had won the popular vote by over half a million. But for some stupid reason, again, one of those "only in America" moments, the guy who didn't get the most votes acted like he was the unanimous choice and that got the ball rolling, that was the deciding factor: this guy Bush seemed to really want it more, and in that fight, Americans will always make you the winner.

Yes I read it. It's not beyond the realms of possibility. I don't think the "Manchurian Candidate" reference is to be taken literally. It wouldn't be the first time that a powerful group has selected someone to be it's front man, someone who was easy to manipulate, for various reasons.
