Re: 50% of Voters Would Not Vote for Hillary

Actually, that's more like 25% of the vote. Apparently only about 50% who are eligible bother to vote.

Re: 50% of Voters Would Not Vote for Hillary

The only thing that worries me about HIllary is her galvanizing effect on republicans. The failures of their own party will leave them little reason to go to the polls in the next election but hillary's presence on the ballot could be just the rallying cry the republicans need. Republicans literally foam at the mouth when you say her name in my town. I've never seen anything like it before although my father has said it was the same with roosevelt.

Re: 50% of Voters Would Not Vote for Hillary

Ha, we're good aren't we Tim? The thing is these days she doesn't seem to be anywhere near close in polling when it comes to Rudy and McCain and even Brownback, Thompson and others all seem to be polling within 5 points or so of her. The main thing Dems have to do is to make damn sure they nominate her, or like you said we really could be in trouble next November.

Seriously, that's really her only downside, the fact that Republicans foam at the mouth at her mention. They never say why they hate her, just that they hate her. I've been trying to find out for years where the hatred comes from, but they never say.

On the other hand, I don't fully trust these numbers since the question didn't ask who she was running against. I'm sure if people saw Hillary running against Hitler they'd change their mind.
this is so true......there are people who would vote against her not for a candidate

being a person who has met this lady....i would be one of them

On what specific issues? I personally am not a Hillary fan and I am not looking to defend her but I am trying to figure out why she is hated more by the right than the rest. Many have told me it is because of her being too liberal but I'm not sure what specific issues set her apart from other democrats as far as being further to the left. Or is it more about her being too calculating? I personally have issues with her although I'm not so sure they would be the same ones.

Nor am I.. Just think: 50% of the people would not vote for outright. Add to that the percent that are undecided on her and you have pretty much a no-win situation for her.

There's a long way until the election, but the rate of her popularity decline is way outpacing the passage of time.

By the start of 2008, 80% of people will not vote for Hillary.

I'm not looking for a argument though. I'm simply curious.

Hillary Clinton is so polarizing because, while she is an extremely intelligent woman, she believes she is superior to everyone else. She looks down on her constituents and believes that she should be everyone's nanny. She treats her subordinates with disrespect and basically lives her life on a soapbox. Ask anyone who has worked for her in some regard other than her political campaigns and offices how she treats others and they will tell you that she was a bitch. Many will use that exact word.

We cannot a person to represent us who looks down on us. That is unacceptable. The president should represent the people. Hillary Clinton believes that she should reign over us rather than serve us.

I am not calling you a liar... But do you have actually got any evidence...
Yes she might feel superior to some, but would you blame her for beliving she is better than Bush Jr. That's just confidence...

She is calculated but look at the guy who shot from the hip for the last 6 years...

Hillary would have stopped Iran gaining the technology to gain the bomb.
