If not a 3rd party...

how about a mixed slate?

I wouldn't mind Bill Richardson and Chuck Hagel.

Anyone else have any interesting pairing ideas?

Re: If not a 3rd party...

McCain-Clinton?

There was a time when I would have voted for Mccain, especially on a two-party ticket, but that is past.

I really honestly don't know enough about Hagel's domestic policies to make an accurate judgement, but Richardson and Hagel both have FP that I like.

There is not going to be a mixed slate.

And I wouldn't support Chuck Hagel for dog catcher.

I like Richardson, and Hagel is about the only Republican I could vote for. That chickenhawks don't like Hagel just makes me like him all the more.

But, it comes down to money, and who can raise the most the quickest ... and unfortunately that may leave both of them on the outside looking in.

Not possible under our present rules. (party rules)

Tho I don't think there is a law against it, the nominating party would have to approve.

I know - it's a 'what-if' thread. There's no one in the opposition party you could stomach?

1 - Anybody female
2 - The better looking, the better

(I don't enough about the field, so I'm stuck holding my nose and saying Clinton-Obama.)

If I'm gonna get screwed no matter what, I can at least try to retain some self-repect about the whole situation.

Superman/Batman 2008

Or Santa Claus/Easter Bunny

or any other fictional characters you can name, because the chances of a split ticket are fictional.
It has never happened and it never will.
