Re: Would-be Puppeteers send Mitt-for-Brains Millions

It utterley amazes me that the Democrats are stupid enough to nominate left-wing liberal senators for 2008. Did they not learn their lessons from 2004 that condescending, elistist northeastern liberals simpy don't cut it in a presidential election?

What happened to all the moderate, centrist, former-governor candidates like Evan Bayh and Mark Warner? Sadly, it looks like the GOP will keep the WH for at least another 4 years, and hopefully Democrats can actually nominate a winner for 2012.

I stick by my prediction: 2008 is going to be 1988

I was wondering how he got so much money anyway. Since he is not doing well in polls it suggest that he is getting more money from fewer people which means he is probably pretty highly regarded in the business community. I would guess he also got a bunch from Mormons since this is a chance to put their faith in the spotlight.

The Democrats haven't nominated anybody yet. Jeez, the primaries don't even start for almost another year!

It utterly amazes me that Mikey doesn't realize that the nominating convention won't be held for at least a few days yet.

Romney is the Bush Family candidate for 2008, he gets the Bush money machine, that's why even though he's way back in the polls, the money is gushing in.
Karl Rove must like what he sees.

Romney won in Massachusetts, true that Romney was the Pro-Choice, Pro-Gun Control, Pro-Gay Marriage, Pro-Health Care Romney that wouldn't stand a chance in the GOP primaries. But people are stupid, (Look who's President), and if there is a team that can reliably rally the numb nuts vote, it's the team that will be behind Romney.
So I expect that in a few months, the usual suspects will be praising the Pro-Life, Pro-2nd Amendment, Family Values Romney as the Second Coming of Ronald Reagan...........

Speaking of stupid voters, I can't help but wondering what the "Christian" Right will think of a Mormon candidate.

Couldn't be much less than the left, apparently.
