Well, lucky for you that 3.14 will be along in pretty short order to tell you why you think they are the same thing...

Here is another of his flip-flops ..

With his poll numbers I don't understand why he gets so much press.
Here is yet another inconsistency to add to his pile: he has joined those accusing the current immigration discussions and bills as being equivalent to giving amnesty, decrying it and calling for a hard line on all aspects, including employers of illegals. As he was bashing McCain on his support of the bill, McCain rightly called him a chronic flip-flopper and pointed out his employment of numerous undocumented Guatemalan yard workers at his house for the past several years. Romney claims he didn't know they were undocumented, a rolleyes allegation. The tone suggested that his flopping has not been indecisiveness, but calculated switching for convenience.

I honestly hope this man doesn't get the nomination. He's worse than Kerry, far worse.

Agreed. I think Kerry got into 'analysis paralysis' too much--he would ponder, reexamine, hedge, nuance, proviso, guard and devil's advocate his own thinking and views repeatedly. His better course should be examine, choose, and commit, and simply be willing to change course should it prove unhelpful after true testing.
Romney, on the other hand, seems to be a chameleon for calculated personal opportunistic advancement.
