Hopefully this can allow more "2nd tier" candidates a better shot. I'm tired of these so called front-runners getting all the attention. From what I've seen the top three Dem and Rep contenders aren't even the best people running in their parties.

It's time the better candidates get our votes, instead of the bigger candidates. There are "2nd" tier candidates in both parties, which could earn my vote, if both parties would just put the best candidate forward, instead of the usual dog and pony show.

Gawd, it's so frustrating, we're probably going to be sold down the river again, with nothing but a bunch of wind-bags to choose from.

At some point you need to get rid of the "no chance in hell" candidates and limit debates to those who have a real chance, I like the fringe guys, but the party has to keep it's eye on the ball.

My god, I saw self serving greed and if a rep makes the same statements I would say same.... maybe what’s to be seen is 2 candidates who don't want any limelight shared...one is struggling and the other has a viable candidate on her heels....so just shut the rest out of the process....and as far as the party 'keeping it eyes on the ball' I find that a remarkable statement.......maybe clinton should have faded in 92, being deemed inconsequential after the first primary? Or his run up to such.....eh? That’s why we have primaries(?), maybe you’d like to skip that part because that’s what it appears you advocate....

And how do you define a "no chane in hell" candidate? The one who gets the least amount of corporate money? The one with the least amount of msm exposure?




From what I've seen the candidates who most want to reform our corrupt government are the ones who get the "no chance in hell" stigma. I'm not saying goober is an authoritarian, I'm just saying he'd do everything in his power to support an authoritarian government

You know, if you really want one of the vanity candidates to win, then vote for them in the primaries; this really isn't rocket science. Whether anyone likes it or not, primary victors represent the collective manifestation of the beliefs of millions of voters on who can actually win the election. Since the people who come out and vote in primaries are traditionally the hardcore members of their respective bases, it stands to reason that they'd vote for one of the second tier candidates if they thought they had a hope in hell of actually winning. The American political center of gravity is decidedly centrist, however much some folks might wish otherwise.

I will once again vote - then shower - and not waste my vote on someone who can't prevent a moron from being in the oval for 8 years. Not sure if I'll vote dem or repub - but much as I hate it, they have the game, the refs, and the stadium.

Like them or hate them, these " fringe " candidates are the only means to hold the " annointed ones " feet to the fire.
The more uncomfortable and inconvenient, the better in my book.
There sure as Hell is no reason whatsoever to exclude anyone before the first round of primaries/caucuses.

With this, I say Fuck Clinton ( repeated sentiment ) and now Fuck Edwards as well!

Barack is looking stronger and stronger.
