Re: Obama the warmonger
Obama has been pretty consistent that he would not have invaded Iraq and that he thought it was an illegal war but he had not said the same about Afghanistan and the correlation should be made with Afghanistan and not with Iraq. Actully if Obama would have said stay out of Pakistan then he would have been two faced. I think he is being consistent.

Yes Obama opposed the US invasion of Iraq for all the right reasons. However, Obama is now supporting the idea of a (allegedly limited) US invasion of Pakistan and that is even more stupid and dangerous than the US invasion of Iraq. On this basis, the thread title is correct. Obama is talking the talk of a warmonger. And Edwards is supporting the idea of a US invasion of Iran. Another warmonger. Looks to me like the only sane one in the race is Hillary. |

Re: Obama the warmonger
Hillary voted for the Iraq war. This would appear to disqualify her under that standard you are applying to Obama and Edwards.

Counseling a US invasion of Pakistan or Iran is categorically a far more dangerous and irresponsible course of action. |
