Has every candidate you have ever voted for been a 100% correlation with your positions on every issue?

Given the choices between Bush/Gore and Bush/Kerry, Bush was certainly the favorable candidate.

Sometimes you can't get everything you want. I know that's a concept that alien to libs, but it's true...

WRONG. To be a hero, one has to do something that significantly helps other people.

Being tortured is pretty crummy, but it doesn't make one a hero.

Outside of that, all mccain did in the military is help bomb women and children in a Third World jungle where US forces weren't even wanted. That helped no one; all it did was waste taxpayer money.

Actually, the relevant question is what an educated person sees as a hero (as opposed to the typical GOP loon gets a hard on every time the US invades or bombs another country).

Of course not. He joined the US military. That pretty much disqualifies him for hero status in today's world.

Are you then saying that the people who serve in our armed forces are not heros? Are you suggesting that instead of being honored for their selfless service they should be derided? Have you been in the military. Have you experienced, first hand, the pain and angst that most of our service members have to go through on a daily basis? Do you have any clue what it means to give your life in service to people who at best don't have a clue who you are, and at worst would spit on you given the chance? Your derision for our servicemember demonstrates ignorance, naivete, and bitterness at your inferiority.

Yes, illegals are human beings. They just need to be human beings elsewhere...
So how about it, Steve?

Re: “Thanks for the question, you little jerk … you’re drafted.”

It was a fucking joke. But, I guess people need to talk about something.

Actually, when looking at the whole Q&A session, those kids at times asked questions that the media never seems to ask. That was kinda cool.

In schools of journalism I imagine the students are taught how to copy and paste. In high schools kids are encouraged to express independant thought.

Whassamatta', Slon? Don't like being dismissed and glossed over? Por widdle Swon feewin' bad?

Well, tough shit.

I'd be willing to bet that the only people discussing this are whiney bed-wetting libs here in the US. I can't imagine it'd be "big news" anywhere else. Ergo, there is no "world stage" for it to play on.

And, even if it did, that shouldn't preclude someone from commenting on the profound stupidity one must possess to criticize McCain for this...

You should try putting some of that effort into addressing the topic.

Then find someone who gambles and place the bet. What do your betting habits have to do with the topic?

Actually, I'm referring to his tendency to say it, not this event alone.

Now, please address the question.

I don't give a fuck what you're addressing. The thread, quite clearly, deals with this specific incident...
