Candidate Match
I thought this was going to be hokey. I think, compared to most people, I know a lot about the candidates for US President.
This was a very accurate tool. If you want to use it, pay attention to the "sliders" on the side which rank importance of the top issues. USA Today Candidate Match

Re: Candidate Match
Well looks like Kussinich can at least win some votes somewhere...looks like he'll easily carry the zero electoral votes of the state of Holland.

Re: Candidate Match
Oh don't be modest, you guys in the Netherlands can do a lot more loony than him.
He's only an idiot by our (slightly) higher standards. You guys could get away with electing some guy who appeases muslim terrorists and has associations with someone who knifed a muslim filmmaker to death. Don't undersell yourself. |

Re: Candidate Match
You calling anyone a troll is hypocritical, and yes i did vote in the poll...i was just waiting for the first Canadian to show his insight but guess what, they were trumped by the Europeans this time. As for why did i come into this thread...you're right, why bother? American elections shouldn't be discussed by anyone outside of Canada on this board.

The sliding thingy made quite a difference for my outcome but I had Gravel in number one both times. Kucinich was also on my list no matter what I did. That did not surprise me. Biden popped up once but I would never vote for him regardless of what he says his positions are. Ron Paul and Obama traded places with just a slight alteration. Neither of those surprised me either.

1 Giuliani 2 Thompson 3 Huckerbee I do care a lot more about Gay marriage and maybe a little too early to tell on Taxes dependant on what this Congress does. |

Re: Candidate Match
Eeek, I did the test and I got a VERY weird outcome. My results were: 1. Rudy Giuliani, 2. Mitt Romney, 3. Denis Kucinich. I did a similar test the other day and the outcome was Mike Gravel and Denis Kucinich. Now, I'm very much on the left of the political spectrum, and if I was an American I'd be voting Green then Dem, so all I can suggest is that some of the answers were in response to my fiscal and economic views, and not my social views.
