That's not necessarily sad. What's sad is that most people probably wouldn't vote for someone who wasn't a straight Christian, just because of their religion and sexual orientation.

Re: Nine White MEN

No no not elect, would the party nominate someone who wasn't a Christian or someone who is gay?

The way Partofme worded his statement it sounds like its sad that they (the Dems) can't nominate someone who isn't a Christian or gay, thus showing apparent frustration that straight and Christian folk get nominated.

Re: Nine White MEN

Why don't people just nominate their candidate based on their ideas, their integrity, and their vision, rather than worrying about whether they are a man or a woman, or black or white, or gay or straight, or any other physical factor that has absolutely nothing to do with their ability to do the job.

Since your going to make assumptions I will clarify. It's a shame that a non-Christian or gay person wouldn't be considered when all else is equal. I think a candidate could be articulate, honest, experienced, and anything else you could think of and one of those two things would block somebody from getting the nomination. I would say that as a non-believer it is frustrating that that point of view gets pretty much no representation at the federal level.

But at least it doesn't have the word "Zionist" in it 43,000 times, so I guess one must look at the bright side of the OP's racism and sexism.

Are you still blundering about the forums posting off-topic snide asides, Larson ? When will you get over it ? Lol.

It's quite a revealing thread. It's exposed a major flaw, in addition to the war , in the Republican front, a flaw which identifies them as the losing party in the forthcoming elections.

You just keep trying to bait members though, Larson. What value the topics compared to Larsonsic baiting ? Rofl.

Come on, McAlly, I've never made any secret of my disgust with the American political charade and the need for change. Your comment is quite superfluous.
Again, 100% white males is NOT representative of American society. Lining them up together was a gift to Democrat hopes.

Come to think about it, I don't believe I've ever seen you raise a point or opinion about it. Here's your big break.

Yup - your "major flaw" is their race and gender.

Outright racism and sexism. Sorry if pointing out that truth upsets you.

Roflmfao ! So, you think that somebody pointing out that 100% of the 'candidates' are white males makes that somebody 'racist and sexist' and NOT those responsible for the 100% exclusion of anybody NOT white or male ?

Come on , Larson, a four year old kid would see through your dishonesty over this one. Lol.

I include that quote to prevent you from claiming that you were making a 'joke'.

Hey, sorry if the image upsets you. Haw haw haw.

Your bio says, "Portuguese citizenship applied for". Just wondering if you are eligible to vote in the US. If so, you have the same rights as everyone else to effect change.

I wasn't joking at all - your entire "point" (to the extent that you have one) is that these candidates are insufficient because of their race and gender.

Now, of course, you'll try to spin your way out of it. Too bad it won't work.

Change will be effected by NOT voting, not by being forced to accept one of the practically destitute offerings made each of the major parties.

If you really want change avoid the ballot box. The system is corrupt. Don't be a part of a corrupted democracy.

Re: Nine White MEN

Moon's all about diversity now. Hmmm.

Let's see how far his commitment to diversity goes.

Palestine's past Prime Ministers:

Presidents:

Stand by for moon to condemn this parade of males of the same race......

(of course, he won't)

But still, can you vote here or not? If you can, then you can choose to abstain or support your candidate. It's up to you. If you can't, then your comments are out of place.

Of course not. Palestine isn't a self -styled role -model for world democracy. America is.

What a pathetic attempt, Larson, to try to compare such extremes. You ought to be ashamed of your first silly assertion. This second one is breathtaking.

You still owe a retraction from a previous thread. You are certainly in no position to dictate any terms whatsoever to anybody on this board. You're the chap who decried an article in al-Jazeera only to bottle it when you discovered it was a reprint from the NYT. Lol.
