Re: Poor Hillary

Looks like the obvious attempts to paint Clinton as weak by falsely accusing her of crying did not work on the voters in Michigan. She still kicked ass.

I'll assume thats sarcasm...

Since none of her major opponents chose to break Democratic National Committee rules and put their names on Michigan's early primary ballot, Hillary Clinton effectively faced only a "None of the Above" option in last night's Michigan primary.

She did not do well against a slate of "uncommitted" delegates, winning only 55% overall. White women saved Mrs. Clinton from a humiliating defeat as exit polls revealed her weakness with other elements of the Democratic electorate. White women made up an astonishing two out of five primary voters last night and Mrs. Clinton won an overwhelming 71% of their votes. But she clearly had problems with other groups. Men gave her only 51% of the vote, African-Americans only 30%. She actually lost to Mr. Uncommitted among voters under the age of 45. Her support skews downscale -- only half of voters earning $50,000 or more voted for her.

Team Clinton is clearly worried about South Carolina's Jan. 26 primary, where half of voters are expected to be African-American. That's one reason she is scrambling for every possible advantage -- down to having her supporters file lawsuits to close some poling places -- in Nevada's Democratic caucus this coming Saturday.

Hillary has been caught several times rigging debates. What's stopping her from rigging an election?

I don't make statements on this site unless I have something to base them from.

By the way, to change the subject a little, Hillary refuses to call herself a Liberal. She instead calls herself a Progressive. Progressivism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A couple of Progressives in history were Woodrow Wilson and FDR. Both of them were well known for their strongarm tactics during their Presidencies. Wilson was a white supremist.

By the way it was Liberals which got rid of slavery, got womans voting rights, Human rights....

About vote rigging or Debate rigging you are strting to embrass yourself. You have failed to show anything close to proof. The article you reference said there wasn't any...

Your filled with hate and that is sad. I pity you for it...

By the way there is some great socialist programs in america which have supplied services for millions of Americans everyday including yourself... So who has there head in the sand now....

By the way trying to link progressivism to white supremancy is lame as it is ignorant... It is kind of funny...

By the way, here's a history lesson for you. You think Liberals got rid of slavery. Liberals got rid of nothing. It took a Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, to pave the way by Executive Order.

Who was the Liberal you think was responsible for authoring the Emancipation Proclamation?

The 13th Amendment was only drafted because the proclaimation was thought to be temporary. Lincoln signed it and was assassinated before it was ratified.

Maybe you should read up on the roots of Progressivism as well before you start flapping your gums.

The reason Hillary doesn't want to be called a Liberal is because Liberal is a four letter word. She's really a Socialist and a Progressive. She's a racist and believes in the state running our lives. She's not interested in Human Rights, she's just interested in taking from us what she needs to impliment her plan of dominance over our lives. She could care less what we honestly feel about it.

You seem to have this love for Liberalism but in truth there is little difference between Liberalism and Facism. The following links on this subject discuss this:
netwmd - Fascism’s Legacy: Liberalism
Fascism's Legacy: Liberalism - article by Daniel Pipes

Quote:
To understand fascism in its full expression requires putting aside Stalin's misrepresentation of the term and also look beyond the Holocaust, and instead return to the period Goldberg terms the "fascist moment," roughly 1910-35. A statist ideology, fascism uses politics as the tool to transform society from atomized individuals into an organic whole. It does so by exalting the state over the individual, expert knowledge over democracy, enforced consensus over debate, and socialism over capitalism.

...............................................

In contrast, conservatism calls for limited government, individualism, democratic debate, and capitalism. Its appeal is liberty and leaving citizens alone.

By what definition? The ability to enter an emergency department and receive care without proving your ability to pay?

Relatively speaking compared to the other democratic nominees she really DID kick ass.

And the childish attempts to say she was "crying" when she wasn't didn't seem to help her competition at all.

Re: Poor Hillary

If she's not playing the victim she's pulling dirty tricks.

After the Nevada Caucus there was over 200 reports of trouble at caucus sites.

Quote:
“We currently have reports of over 200 separate incidents of trouble at caucus sites, including doors being closed up to thirty minutes early, registration forms running out so people were turned away, and ID being requested and checked in a non-uniform fashion. This is in addition to the Clinton campaign’s efforts to confuse voters and call into question the at-large caucus sites which clearly had an affect on turnout at these locations. These kinds of Clinton campaign tactics were part of an entire week’s worth of false, divisive, attacks designed to mislead caucus-goers and discredit the caucus itself."
Marc Ambinder (January 19, 2008) - Obama Manager Accuses Clintons of Widespread Dirty Politics
Let's not forget to mention the lawsuit leading up to the caucus the Clintons say they had nothing to do with yet wholeheartedly supported.

AlterNet: Hillary Clinton's Dirty Campaign Tactics

Bill Clinton told reporters that he felt that it was unfair for the Culinary Union Workers Local 226 to have their caucuses in the casinos they worked in because it would make it easier for them to vote and their votes would count "5 times as much". How their votes would count 5 times as much he didn't elaborate on. What he also failed to mention was that he and Hillary had agreed to the locations months ago and only objected to it 2 days before the caucus because the union decided to endorse Obama instead of Hillary. In effect, a plan to win the caucus backfired on them and now they're complaining about it.

Other dirty tactics used by the Clintons in New Hampshire and Iowa:

Quote:
In the first primary state, her supporters -- backed by New Hampshire Democratic Party officials -- pressured poll workers to remove observers stationed by the Obama campaign. AlterNet: Hillary Clinton's Dirty Campaign Tactics

And in Iowa, the Clinton campaign -- with the help of the state's largest newspaper, the Des Moines Register, which endorsed her -- was discouraging students from returning from winter break to vote, even though their right to do so was legal, said Rick Hasen, who writes a respected election law blog.
The point is the Clintons aren't confident in letting the will of the people be their ticket back into the White House. They want to use every tactic in their bag of dirty tricks to shave off as many Obama votes as possible in any way possible.

Some would say 'This ain't so bad'. Many people who support Hillary say this is just politics as usual. But it wasn't always like this, not before the Clintons came along. Maybe this is why everyone hates politics these days.
