Poor Hillary

Does anyone really feel sorry for Hillary?

She's gone from being the shoe-in to a loser in just 8 short days. Somehow I can't bring myself to feel sorry for her, not one bit.

After all of the lives and careers she and her husband have ruined, all of the years of manipulation of everyone around them, the destruction of what is considered to be right and what is considered to be wrong, Hillary wants us to feel sorry for her, not because of her feelings but because of what she sees happening (most of which she is personally responsible for) and the feeling she has that she is the only hope to change it.

Sure she can change it.

Re: Poor Hillary

Hillary got quasi-emotional at a photo op.

And here I thought the Hollywood writers were on strike.

Re: Poor Hillary

Yeah, who needs the Clintons back in the White House. We don't want 8 years of competence and fiscal restraint. We want to kick ass and waste money overseas on endless wars.

Gimme a break. Hillary's not my first choice, but she'd be 100 times better than Bush.

Obama gives by far the best speeches, but in a debate he seems like George W Bush; uncertain about foreign policy, and vague about most issues. It's all posturing with him. I feel like if he becomes president it'll be like "what now" on his first day. Just like Bush.

The Middle East wasn't about to explode with Clinton in office, and now the world is in a really precarious place. Hillary isn't all that bad.

...
So what? Bush is not running.

Is Hillary 100 times better than the other candidates running?

I would say she is not. Sure, she may be a better choice than Barack Obama, but I believe both Edwards and Richardson would be better than either of them.

Holy fuck.

When the fuck will you people get it through your heads that comparisons to Bush are about the most stupid fucking comparisons you can make?

The question you should be asking yourself is whether or not she'll be better than the other people who are actually running for office...

Those who are actually paying attention know Bush isn't running, Jason.

Hillary has a single major policy initiative to her credit - and it was a dismal failure.

Re: Poor Hillary

Good Morning All!

Why would anyone feel sorry for Hillary? She is a cold and calculating politician. Would she have stayed with Bill if not for her own ambitions? She talked about all she has done for this country. Can anyone tell me what it is exactly that she has done? She continues to stay with an immoral husband thereby teaching her daughter that ambition and all the mistakes that come with it are okay. It's time for her and her family to leave Washinton.

You're right the middle east had already exploded when clinton was in office....

Also, aren't there more important things to worry about when picking a president than how good they are at debating and giving speeches? Lets judge them on their policies and their records rather than how good of a salesman they are.

Re: Poor Hillary

Since Bush is not running why the comparison? At the very least Bush has a spine. His answers to questions are not predicated on which way the political wind is blowing. Clintons agrees that illegals should get drivers licenses UNTIL she disagrees with them getting licenses. These two very firm decisions occurred within 36 hours. Can you say disingenuous????

I watched her dumb little act on the news last night.

Then I did my own dumb little act :-) My impression of the Saturday Night Live Church lady:
