Well it looks like we can say good-bye to Rudy, Huckabee, and Paul. As with a win by McCain kills any chance of a brokered convention that the Paulette's have been going on about. Unless of course Romney does exceptionally well on Super Tuesday. Though I doubt it.

I just heard Giuliani's speech, and he sounded a lot like a guy who was about to concede.

Of course, if he DID, I missed it. They cut to Romney delivering one of the smarmiest speeches I've heard in a LONG time.

I think McCain has sealed the deal with a win in Florida, especially since this was a GOP election. Looking at some of the polls of the super Tuesday states, the only one in his way is Rudy and he's about to endorse McCain. Of course, don't anybody hold their breath on my prediction. Though I would say that McCain will have to deal with Huckabee more than Romney I think.

Guiliani's strategy now consists of dropping out tomorrow and endorse John McCain. McCain must now be considered the presumptive nominee of the republican party. This also must be considered the Democrats biggest nightmare. I can't think of any republican that would be tougher come November than John McCain.

Excuse me? Paul is just getting started my friend. He'll be there, fully funded all the way to the convention. If his message gets out then McCain is in deep shit. If he doesn't get the nomination, he'll probably run third party and destroy McCain's chances and give the election to Obama.

I doubt the third party thing will happen. The LP and the Constitution Party both have their conventions before the GOP. Also, he has already filed to run for his Congressional seat. I doubt that he will do this and a third party run.

So, when is his message going to get out? Who hasn't heard of Ron Paul yet and his message? I don't care if Ron Paul stays in or drops out, as long as we all stop pretending that Ron Paul still has a chance to win the nomination. He couldn't even beat Huckabee in a GOP closed primary, indeed the only one he beat was Dead Fred. The GOP has made it perfectly clear they want nothing to do with Ron Paul.

As for Ron Paul running as an independent, why? What would be the point if he can't win? Why would anyone bother voting for him if their vote could actually go towards someone who can win the nomination (Unless they do so just in spite of the system, though its probably cheaper to just not vote). Just to get Obama to win? What if Hillary wins? Your clutching at straws Danny, its over.

I believe you are right in your predictions, if Paul would run as a third party candidate. That is why I believe he will not run. He is intelligent enough to see this and would not want to ruin his party's chances to the Presidency.
