The way we got here was by my claim that BO's church was segregationist. After reading the statement from their web site do you agree that it is, or disagree?

We haven't decided to start our "battle for gay marriage" in our states YET

Yeah it's segregationist. So what? I know asian clubs and Kurdish bars and white 'gabber' parties. I've got no problem with them. As I said the problem with the pastor is that he is blaming other ethnic groups for his problems.

Re: Obama Speech 3/18 - "Race In America"

The speech confirmed that Obama's entire candidacy is about one thing - race. He likes to pretends that he 'transcends' race, but he's really just another poverty pimp. He sounds like Al Sharpton. I think he just handed the nomination to Hillary.

I don't know if the segregationist angle applies.

With your standard for "segregationist" applied, Obama's church is hardly unique... and hardly surprising since we casually throw around the term "black churches" as a colloquialism.

It's quite likely that almost everyone knows that black churches are ... well black churches. Many people likely see this as insignificant and there are a few people likely take solace that black people "have their own" churches so they won't be coming to "ours" ....

Read this part.

As such, Rev. Race baiting bullshit coming from a presidential candidate who is supposed to UNITE not DIVIDE.

Did ya catch it that time ?
The original constitution, as written, was "stained by this nation's original sin of slavery."

Was it not?

Re: Obama Speech 3/18 - "Race In America"

We all agree that Obama has good speech writers and is great in front of a teleprompter. But he cannot expect to be taken seriously anymore. He says" Words matter" and "Speeches Matter" but dismisses the words and speeches of his hate filled pastor? Either words and speeches matter or they don't. Which is it Obama?

There is an old saying erikvv that actions speak louder than words; I would say Obama's allegiance to this racist pastor along with his refusal to leave this pastors openly racialist church speaks louder than his damage control speech. I also took note that Barack expressed solidarity with the racist Jewish Supremacist Apartheid state of Israel in the quote you posted while taking a shot at Islam; Obama strikes me as a legitimate anti-racist alright! Appears like he is whoring his values to pander to the John Hagee crowd with that quote...

Now you've got me wondering what a "white community" is, too.
