So what if they were?Maybe you want your children indoctrinated into military service, not everyone feels the same. Accept the fact that we are all different and embrace that diversity. How wrong and boring the world would be if we were all the same.

Plus, we would not truly be free. If you value freedom, then allow it unimpeded. If you truly do not not believe in freedom and want differing opinions stopped....then you are in the wrong country and the wrong forum.

They will not offer the alternative view, nor will they offer equal time to the opposing view. That is nothing but one-sided politics and has no place in a public school.

Let them make their pitch for cannon fodder in their own venue, at their own expense, to an audience that isn't captive or not at all.
When did public schools become private? Taxpayers money build, control and run...so it is their venue, all taxpayers.

And whatever happened to the parents that dont want they children to hear the message not to go to the event? Let them have the time to study or talk about the war as a group. Why keep all children, esp those who want and parents approve of the message, from listening to the vets?

So now we have a few telling the majority what they can or cannot do or hear.....sounds like liberal fascism to me.....

And how do I know they are liberal democrats......well when 99% of all anti war protesters vote democratic what else do you call them?

Fine, take the kids into another class room and let them have at it.

But that is not what a few parents wanted.....they didnt want anyone, not just their kids, to hear the message.....wonder why?

So the question right back to you, why do liberals have a problem with equal time for opposing views?

No, because this was a biased infomercial for war and most schools do not allow parent groups to stage presentations, especially if it is liberal slanted.

Your argument is the same as saying that prayer should be allowed in school and kids who do not want to pray should just leave the room or sit respectfully...as if that doesn't cause stigmatization.

Pure social propaganda.

No ?

It's always convenient to call something we don't like "propoganda" in order to justify our attempts and wishes to silence it isn't it ?

Re: Once again the anti American left rears it ugly head.

I’ll ask again, has anyone looked at their presentation materials?

Cause if we are going to just go off of websites and hearsay, maybe some folks here need to revisit their posts in the Obama/Wright threads……the hypocrisy is stifling.

What's confusing you about their agenda after visiting their website?
