PA Primary Results.

It appears the exit poll data is begining to come onto the cable news channels. I havent seen a solid break down yet. Has anyone else?
I saw a figure where Obama carried %60 of voters under 24.

Lets just keep this one updated as more results come in.

Does Hillary need to win by 10+ points to stay relevant?
What is threshold of victory for her to responsibly stay in the race?

Please discuss and provide updates as you get them.

I usually do not bother following these all day. I'll check in around 7:00 or so and every hour after until I go to bed. Otherwise I'll just have to listen to analysts repeating their conventional wisdom for 6 hour straight.

Yeah you are right POM. I am watching Hardball right now. They were all advertising the first exit polls would be released at 5pm eastern. Now its a tune in to listen to pundits ad naseum. When I see some numbers, I will post them.

Re: PA Primary Results.

From what I have been hearing Hillary does need to win by double digits to expect to remain a viable candidate. If she does, then she can start hounding about Florida & Michigan delegates. I think they're going to have to have a re-vote in those states.

I can't bring myself to start watching the polls for another little while.

I heard 7% somewhere or another. I'm guessing that's the cutoff for a certain number of delegates if that's how they are divided up there.

It depends on what you mean by "viable". Some might say Hillary became unviable when it was clear that she would lose both the popular and non-superdelegate count without FL and MI. I think Hillary became unviable after Super Tuesday revealed that she is managing one of the poorest if not THE Poorest campaign in American history.

Re: PA Primary Results.

I heard somewhere that FL dem party wouldnt pay for the recount so it would fall onto the DNC to pay for it. With Dean in control and him backing Hillary, if he did approve it there would be a whole lot of Obama backers pissed.

Maybe it time to cont to sit back and let the dems destroy each other.

That's a bold claim. Did you happen to catch the 2004 Kerry campaign, to name just one?

Re: PA Primary Results.

I just watched my local NBC tv affiliate post a comment from Hillary in a recent speech saying Quote: Those people in Iraq causing the problems need to be eradicated;. Now i don't claim to be all knowledgeable but doesn't that remark smack of some kind of racial statement? At this point i would like her definition of "THOSE" people.

It might hinge on what the definition of "is" is.

Oh pleaze......

Do you always try to play the race card?

Her definition of "THOSE" means the terrorists and insurgents. Nothing racist about that but leave it up to an Obamabot to try and find something racist when there is none.

Dammit! See what you have done? You make me do something I have never done before, defend Hillary.
