Except many of the people being referred to as "uneducated" are, in fact, educated, possessing high school diplomas, some college coursework, trade school certifications, etc.

Which happens pretty much in every election because uneducated whites (actually uneducated everyone) keep voting against their own interests. I have to admit it's getting tough not to look at that subgroup with contempt.

It's hard to say. I'm certainly not uneducated and I don't belong to either party. Perhaps I'd be part of the largely ignored educated moderate. I'm pissed because politicians rarely pander to people like me: Obama and Paul some of the few individuals who have tried.

McCain (and Clintons) gas tax holiday shows that they clearly aren't interested in my vote. McCain's constant confusion regarding Sunni, Shia, Iran, al-Qaeda shows me that he isn't interested in getting the votes of thinking humans.
