In Barack's campaign, emotion and wisdom go hand in handand politics is nothing but a proportionate mixture of inspiration and intelliegence.

Was not it W who brought US politics pure emotionalism and rhetoric?
I disagreed strongly with the Bush administration. Moving the discussion to Bush won't cut it anymore. I want to hear Obama's fanatical supporters talk about his policies and what they will do the country.

And I expect it NOW. He will be president of the whole country and I expect answers.

What would you like to hear from Barack's fanatical supporters? His whole policy agenda? It is on sale in amazon.com.

One short answer: Barack will do just the opposite W has been doing for the past 8 years.

W, too, was everyone's President but he did not listen to what Cindy Sheanen tried to put in his "W" head.

Who cares if Barack does not listen to few of you?

For the first time I see someone laughing having said "This time it is different."

It is too bad that in the past 8 years many of us have get used to "W" kind of jokes.

Have ever asked W if his God really told him to invade Iraq?

Re: Barack, The Unstoppable

Just a side note..............has anyone else noticed that the chatter on the major news outlets have shifted their focus to how many superdelegates each candidate has in their pocket?

So what does that tell you?

It tells me that they are really rooting for Obama.

On one hand, I'll be glad to see the Clinton's gone - they are a disgraceful pair of opportunists. But on the hand I'll be sad that such disgraceful people are no longer the face of the Democrat party. Instead we'll have Obama, his angry, bitter wife, and Obama's mentor "the Reverend Jeremiah "God damn America" Wright!! I'm not sure which is worse!

It tells me that if the superdelegates are going to hand it to Clinton despite the delegate count they are sure doing a good job of hiding it.

Actually you will have Pelosi and the Democratic congressional leaders. With all the great talk of Obama's ideas and the dreams of Camelot rising again, Americans also need to look at realistically how much influence Obama is going to have over Congress versus the other way around. I see little evidence that Obama is going to have enough influence over Congress to get his ideas translated to reality.

If Obama wins, it will be Pelosi's agenda in the White House, not Obama's.

I don't read it that way at all.

With the exception of the last few months Pelosi has been a fairly inconsequential Speaker. And even recently her only real successes have been as a result of uniting House Democrats in opposition to the Bush legislative agenda (which is a feat that could just as well be accomplished by a retarded monkey and which is bringing Ms. Pelosi a great deal more credit than she deserves).

Put a Democratic president in the White House with a better than 45% approval rating and Pelosi loses all her mojo. She can go back to her position as chief DNC fund raiser for the next 4 years because her "leadership" won't really be needed.

Fortunately there are plenty of Obama supporters who aren't "doe-eyed."

Certainly true, but there sure seem to be a few floating about here who think he's the Second Coming, and they are in for a harsh let-down as it becomes more and more apparent that he's the same old politics in a new suit.

I wouldn't bet on the outcome if I were a betting man.

I'll take your word for it, but it's going to be kinda hard to believe you if you keep claiming that Obama is "anything but naive in politics".

When you ignore the obvious it's hard not to be taken for a cheerleader.

The man is clearly one the most naive and amateur upper-tier politicians this country has seen in a long time and he's very lucky his campaign hasn't imploded yet.

But, he's dynamic, charismatic, elequent, doesn't have much of an official voting record (and what does exist has been pretty much party-line against the legislative agenda of the most unpopular president since Harry Truman), and he's been able to get out the black and youth votes like nobody's business.

He has plently going for him. So much so that I actually voted Democrat (and for him) in the primary for the first time in my life.

But a lack of naïveté can hardly be considered one of his strong points.
