Totally. I'm not sure if it's a modern phenomenon, but it sure seems that those who pursue the office of POTUS are inherently unable to manage their egos down to human level.

It's going to be interesting to see if any of the 3 current candidates can prove me wrong. I honestly hope that at least one does.

Well, it will require a wee bit more than that. Now that the Dem primary seems inevitably concluded, both McCain and Obama will have to get down to brass tacks about their visions to convince the public why each should get their vote.

Yes in fact its the only thing TO do. I remind you that your way (the Bush way) seems to have strengthened them and their position quite nicely. Why do you advocate a policy of a stronger Iran? Please explain.

Israel-made weapons are everywhere, too, and I bet they are widely used by the insurgents and militia in Iraq.

Now, do we need not to talk to Israel because of that? Do we have to bomb them? Had Great Britain bombed Israeli occuppied territories when Israeli-backed terrorist group, Irgun, led by Arial Sharon, bombed King David Hoetl, killing more than 100 British soldiers?

If there's a war somewhere, there will be war profiteers; that's clear. War is never a noble action; it is dirty by nature and there will be nations that would like to make fortune out of the blood of the innocent of the both sides.

Ever heard of Iraqis interrogated/tortured by professional Israeli intelligence officers?

Do you believe that Russia and China do not sell weapons to any possible buyers clandestinely in Iraq, Afghanistan or somewhere else? It is open-market economy and your chicken-hawk patriotism has no buyer on that platform.

Haven't America sold weapons in the places where deadly clashes happens? To both sides? Doesn't America arm Israel? Did not America armed junta and militia in Latin American countries?

Did not they talk to USA?

Are torture and killing justifiable when it is commited by us.

U.S.-Made Land Mines Killed Many Americans, Report Says - New York Times
Studies long stored in the Pentagon's archives show that tens of thousands of American soldiers were killed or maimed in the Vietnam and Korean Wars by American-made land mines, according to a report by groups seeking American support for an international moratorium on the weapons.
Should Barack not talk to the Americans?

Agreed.

A good leader is not one who knows everything, which is improbable. But he/she is the person who has the ability to set up a very functional, intelligent team of experts and aides.

I bet there are Americans in Germany who walk around with military ID's and dress in civilian clothing. I'm pretty sure there are people like that in our own country.

That's funny, considering that it's coming from a supporter of a party that doesn't even have a nominee yet...

What evidence do you have that the Iranians were trying to kill people and weren't trying to protect Iraqi diplomats?

Because we were walking a patrol and were ambushed. A misable attempt to say the least, but they were not trying to protect anyone.

And the day a Iraian tries to protect a Iraq diplomat it the day hell will freeze over.

You should have stated that you were ambushed, killed the ambushers, and found a dead man with an Iranian badge. It's like you're intentionally being vague so that you can solidify your arguements later. Kinda makes me wonder if you're makin' up shit as you go.

Interesting. I did not know that.

I think being vague is the way to go; it allows those who don't know what they're talking about to wal themselves into an indefensible position, and one which makes them look silly.

You asked what evidence he had, and now you know. You just didn't expect it...

I don't appreciate the smartalec snark that comes after the fact. Had there not been any vagueness in the first place the question wouldn't have been asked.

Put another way, don't jump to conclusions...or...look before leaping (there's alliteration in the latter so it's an easy mnemonic).
